Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing many industries, and music is no exception. My project explores the cutting edge of AI in music, focusing on its potential to generate live Algorithmic Dance Music (ADM). This is a new genre of electronic dance music (EDM) created entirely by AI algorithms. The goal of my research is to develop an AI system that can generate high-quality, engaging dance music in real time, without any human intervention. This could potentially change the way we think about live music performance and push the boundaries of musical creativity.
